Family Time!

Hello All!  The last couple of weeks have been very busy.  Just since last Sunday, we have gotten a new fan in the bathroom, fixed and washed the lawnmower, had a new toilet put in, built Bella a new hut, and the house has been painted.  The entire family has been great assistance for all of these tasks; it is amazing what gets done when there are so many of us to help.  All the while, I am halfway into my second summer course and Trace is working crazy shifts at his two jobs.  Needless to say, summer vacation is not exactly ALL vacation.  It IS nice to be able to spend time doing things that have been neglected during the school year though.

Sherri and Micki also took Laura and I on a motorcycle ride to Princeton on Saturday.  We ate at Pagliai's, then came home "the old way," you know the one Grandaddy always wanted to take.  What a fun trip!  Then, we had a family gathering on Sunday night, complete with lasagna, fajita spaghetti, hamburgers, hotdogs, and of course, SWIMMING!  So thankful we can still get together as often as we do and spend time with each other.  Jake and Nancy were also home from Florida, so they came by and spent some time with us.  Missed all of you that couldn't be there.

The BBQ will be Friday! Although it is going to be a very hot day, and SO much work, it is still good to be able to do it all with family.  Looking forward to some good grub and then heading out for an end-of-summer vacation in Orlando.
